Shapes

2D shape recognition is the ability to identify and name flat shapes such as circle, square, triangle, rectangle, and oval. This builds a child’s understanding of geometry, spatial awareness, and categorization — all critical for early math and problem-solving skills.

How it benefits the child?

• Helps children recognize and name shapes in their environment
• Develops visual discrimination and attention to detail
• Supports geometry skills for future math learning
• Encourages language development through shape vocabulary
• Makes learning fun through interactive exploration

How to play?

1.The screen will say “I spy a [shape]” (e.g., “I spy a circle”).
2.A variety of objects with different shapes will appear.
3.The player must click all the pictures that match the target shape (e.g., all circles).
4.Once all correct shapes are found, a new shape will be introduced!
